From February 12-15, EA invited all employees to send a message of appreciation or shout out in the #send-some-love Slack channel to our colleagues or teams. Drawing inspiration from our onsite, remote, and hybrid work modes crossing different time zones, I wrote an ode to our store and production members. Sharing it here. Hope it makes you smile.
To company store staff
We never met.
You never make me wait,
Never play hard to get.
No game orders without
You and your commitment.
You we love, not just
On Valentine’s Day.
And to my Battlefield teammates
Maybe we’ve met.
Maybe I’ve made you wait,
But I’m not playing hard to get.
No learning without
Us pushing the limit
Of our sanity. Just
Love is Battlefield.
