I began logging in university as a means to share laughs. I thought if I was able to make people around me laugh or gasp, how wonderful it would be to share those conversations so others could also enjoy the experience. And them others. Never considered myself a writer until after I studied writing eight years ago.  
 
My private emailing list of readers and previous roommates who have grown with me over the years inspire me to do better. A shout out to my retired engineering professor, Dr. John Jones. His tireless feedback and encouragement on my manuscript made a huge difference to my craft. By the end of the project, the apprentice got writing, and the mentor heaps more white hair I was sure.
